1 Introduction
Welcome to academessay.com (the “Website”). The Website connects clients who need written content with skilled freelance authors (collectively, the “Services”) are operated by Paradoxeer s.r.o. (registration No. 23375141, Dandova 2619/13, Horní Počernice, 193 00 Praha, Czech Republic) (“AcademEssay”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
2 Definitions

3 Scope of Services
The Website offers the possibility to register as a freelancer and provide writing services for clients, on behalf of academessay.com.
- The Website provides a Funds Custody system enabling Clients to commission bespoke text (e.g. essays, blog posts, reports) from independent Authors.
- All Content is delivered for reference, learning and editorial assistance only. Clients must not submit Content as their own work where academic or professional integrity rules prohibit it.
- AcademEssay does not provide writing itself and is not a party to the contract between Client and Author save for payment facilitation.
4 Eligibility & Restricted Jurisdictions
- You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
- The Services are not available to residents of countries subject to EU, OFAC or UN sanctions or any jurisdiction where commissioned writing services are prohibited by law.
- AcademEssay may screen users and block access at its sole discretion.
5 Account Registration & Security
- Users must register with a valid email and strong password. Each person may hold one account only.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping credentials confidential.
- Notify us immediately at info@academessay.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
6 Posting & Accepting Orders
- Clients create Orders specifying topic, word‑count, deadline and any source material.
- Authors may bid on available Orders. The Client selects the Author and funds the Order price into Funds Custody.
- Order status shows the stage of the order submitted.
Client duties
- Provide complete instructions and reference files.
- Review submitted drafts promptly and either approve or request revisions.
Author duties
- Deliver original, plagiarism‑free Content that meets Order specifications.
- Respond to clarification messages in a timely manner.
7 Pricing, Payments & Funds Custody
- Fees are shown in real‑time in euros (EUR) at checkout. AcademEssay reserves the right to change pricing but not retroactively for active Orders.
- Accepted payment methods are shown on the bottom of the page.
- Client funds are held in funds custody until the Client clicks Approve or 14 days pass after the final deadline with no dispute (“automatic release”)
- AcademEssay deducts a service fee from Author payouts as displayed in the Author dashboard.
8 Revisions & Refunds
Revisions
- A Client may request one free revision if the Content deviates from the original instructions.
- Additional or out‑of‑scope changes may incur extra charges agreed with the Author.
Refunds
Refund requests must be filed via the dispute form before funds are released. Full or partial refunds may be granted where:
- no draft is delivered; or
- the Content materially fails to match the Order description.
No refund is available for:
- dissatisfaction with grades or outcomes after the Client’s own use of the Content;
- missed deadlines caused by late Client provision of materials; or
- requests submitted more than 180 days after payment.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 3–6 banking days; payment‑provider fees are non‑refundable.
9 Intellectual Property
- Until full payment is released, intellectual‑property rights in the Content belong to the Author.
- Upon release, the Author grants the Client a non‑exclusive, worldwide licence to use the Content for lawful personal or organisational purposes, subject always to academic‑integrity rules.
- Clients must not resell or publicly publish the Content without the Author’s written consent.
10 Academic Integrity & Plagiarism
AcademEssay condemns plagiarism. Users agree not to:
- submit Content as original academic work where prohibited;
- request or supply materials intended for cheating;
- infringe copyright or misrepresent authorship.
Violations may result in immediate account termination and reporting to educational institutions.
11 Data Protection & Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data are described in the Privacy Policy available on the Website. By using the Services you consent to such processing.
12 Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or close your account without notice if you:
- breach these Terms or policies;
- attempt chargebacks or fraud;
- abuse, threaten or harass other Users or staff;
- create multiple or false accounts.
Closed accounts forfeit unused promotional credits; escrowed Client funds are refunded where appropriate.
13 Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
- The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
- AcademEssay is not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, loss of profits, data or reputation.
- Our aggregate liability to any User for direct losses shall not exceed the total fees paid to us by that User in the previous 12 months.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence.
14 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Czech law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to exclusive jurisdiction of the Czech courts. Consumers in the EU may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
15 Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified by email or in‑site message. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
